England were forced to delay the announcement of their Test squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand after captain Joe Root was unable to attend a selection meeting due to illness.
The travelling party was due to be named on Tuesday night GMT but Root, who was afflicted by severe dehydration during the fifth Ashes Test in Sydney, was not fit to be involved in the process.
Therefore, the announcement was rescheduled and is now due to take place at 10pm GMT on Wednesday.
When it is forthcoming, it is expected to include the news that James Vince and Mark Stoneman have kept their places despite miserly Ashes series with the bat.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
