He won just three of the 21 ODIs he led the West Indies in during 2017, while suffering 15 losses with three no-results for a meagre 16.66 percentage winning record.

problem is there is no replacement in the current squad of 15 touring !
Ramdin will not be recalled for non cricketing reasons
Gayle has no interest in Captaincy for the ODI format and no one else has any experience
Carlos is a waste as we will observe in the upcoming T20
I would prefer Emrit to give us a thinking all rounder for the 20 over format.
