I hear you. But I think they have shown they can do better than what they did in NZ

that is no under performance. that is what those bwoys can do. they did what they are capable off. that's it. and there isnt much upside to that team.
they dont need coaches but talent and brains. they also need an interest in winning by the cWI. the cWI is not interested in the cricket..in winning..only the well being of their admin
common sense:
1 putting Hetmeyer at #3 was and is a total waste of time. I have argued that before. Hetmeyer is not Kanhai or Richardson who both had top class batsmen behind then when they were stuffed in at #3. Hetmeyer has no experience and no one behind or in front of him. he is on his own against 2 very very good Kiwis..Boult and Southee..backed up by Wagner
2 Bravo with his experience is crucial to this team. he may jell the batting into something much more productive because he can handle international bowling at the highest level. if they wanted to win they would go out of their way to make sure that Bravo is available. they do not so they don't care..they don't care because the need for Bravo and the real solid effect he would have on this batting is obvious..but they make no effort to have him available
3 Jason Holder is an occupier of space as captain and player. he is no real benefit to the side. so too are Reifer and Cummins even if Cummins took a few wickets. the side cannot kerry any 2 of those 3....or all together... and win
4 by now Blackwood should have evolved into a class batsman, experienced and able to adjust his technique and kerry a solid batting load. instead he is out of the team. I don't think anyone was paying attention to him so he slipped though yawning craks
5 it is not impossible to note and understand the cWI attitude to the team, the politics they play and why they don't care to have the best players available always. they give to their coaches selections they know are a waste of time..and the coaches do know what the cWI wants, and it is not necessarily to win test matches. so how much care do we really expect the coaches to invest in their jobs..in the team?
6 how much time must we expect the coaches to allocate to a player like Kieron Powell? should they pay attention to him, late twenties, around for years and years since a teen, and clearly not up to it against good teams?
7 Sunil Ambris a debutante at 24 years of age and making the mistakes he has????
what kind of attitude and intellect is that.?
24 is not young. Ambris shud have come in ready to go at that age. he is not ready to go..so when he hell will he be? how do coaches deal with a situation like that? its not easy is it? how do you coach a 24 year old like an 18 year old?
8 I was looking at the cWI new website. beautiful, brilliant..they spared no expense. if only they looked after the cricket with the same care.
but its flim flam...looks with no substance. that is what the cWI is..flim flam...totally americanized..blinding with the bullshit, selling crap as the real deal.
look at the tremendous picture of the current team..a powerful shot..giving the wrong impression of a team that cant play at all.
but they give the impression anyway because that impression is to impress and hold the fan even if the cricket on the field does not..cannot
that is the essence of flim flam..dazzle with the right hand so the eye cant see what the left hand is doing.
man phuck the cricket eh!!! if we pay attention to it is to beat it all to hell...the team and the cWI. the players also must not be given a pass. they are aware of whats going on and take full advantage when given a chance

When do onamalies stop being anomalies? They beat Pakistan in UAE and in WI and they beat England in England. Wont mention Zimbabwe as I think they should have beaten them in both tests. They have shown enough for us to believe they have the capacity to do better. Shai Hope, for example did little. Almost all the batsmen got out needlessly, even recklessly on occasion. With better decision-making they could've done better. I agree they seemed ill-equipped to handle the short ball and they have to work on that. But they have the ability to do better than they did.
