West Indies have form when it comes to fighting back from a disastrous first Test, leaving Mike Hesson feeling edgy.
Black Caps coach Hesson warned the West Indies are a better team than that which capitulated by an innings and 67 runs at the Basin Reserve and expects proof in the second Test starting in Hamilton on Saturday.
The tourists were humiliated by an innings and 209 runs at Edgbaston in their most recent Test series against England in August.
A week later they were celebrating a five-wicket victory in the second Test at Leeds, riding on two big knocks each from opener Kraigg Brathwaite and Shai Hope, along with productive bowling returns from seamers Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel, along with spinner Roston Chase.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
