which ever way he bats its still runs scored that matters.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I like Blacks style actually !
all he needs is a guy like Kanhai or Lloyd to show him :
which ball to leave, which to defend, which to attack

Ketchim, that means you don't actually like his approach. If you think he needs better judgment in leaving and defending balls you are asking for him to change his methods

I like his "aggression" !
we have enough "Paints" : a Chanderpaul legacy in the squad
we need a Kanhai or a Viv style aggression : Blackwood fits that bill !
Shot selection IMO , needs reinforcing via one of our greats
preferably a right handed bats....

For example Viv can tell him : You see that Purple colour on the diagram above ??
LEAVE !! ...do not hang bat, do not follow, do not flash

I like his aggression too. But running down the wicket and getting stumped with one run needed for victory is recklessness. Swiping across the line isn't aggression either. It's bad batting.

In that case it's Mental

Steve SylvesterThe renowned Sport Psychologist was approached by Cricket West Indies to support the players, coaches and support staff.
Sylvester’s eye-catching CV includes playing his part behind the scenes in Middlesex County Cricket Club winning the County Championships after 23 years last summer.
