Former Sri Lanka skipper Aravinda de Silva is likely to take up an advisory role with support staff of the senior team to report him. This step is being taken forward amidst Sri Lanka’s performances in 2017. Sri Lanka have suffered numerous losses, starting from South Africa tour, ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and recent home series versus India. De Silva headed SLC’s Cricket Committee, an advisory body comprising of several former captain, but stepped down due to difference of opinion with SLC officials in the past.

Kumar Sangakkara. What a season. Whatever, whoever the bowling - it all ends up in the boundary boards.
