Stokes to SD Hope, FOUR, what a wonderful shot! Plenty of flair in this,
a one-legged pull through square leg. Touch of Greenidge in that

Stokes to Brathwaite, FOUR, bring up the 200-run stand. An epic effort from these two!!

Not impressed with Root's captaincy. Stokes and Mo on after tea. Both wide and short. Woakes barely bowled today.

I hope Hope gets a double tomorrow (was Lara the last Windian whose first ton was a double?), but I'm still not sure how many of his runs in this match have been due to luck and how many were due to skill. On a different pitch, at least three of his knicks would have carried to the slips.
So far, only Blackwood seems to be batting chancelessly, which is ironic considering how crazy his batting is.

OK FOLKS ON A PITCH LIKE THIS YOU NEED SOME LUCK ON YOUR SIDE.
NEITHER HOPE NOR KRAIGG GAVE ANY CHANCES AND ENGLAND WERE ESSENTIALLY CLUTCHING AT STRAWS WITH THEIR REVIEWS.
FROM A WASTE INDIES POINT OF VIEW THIS PERFORMANCE BY SHAI IS HEART WARMING. HE PLAYED SOME EXCELLENT SHOTS ONCE HE SETTLED IN.
JIMMY ANDERSON WAS UP TO HIS USUAL TRICKS OF WANTING A CHANGE IN BALL ONCE IT STOPPED DOING WHAT HE WANTED.
