Former West Indies cricketer Brian Lara praised both Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim for their brilliant against England in the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, on Thursday.
The legendary cricketer thinks the Bangladesh opener has become a more confident batsman now. “Tamim is a more confident cricketer now than he was in the early days. He is also one of the senior cricketers of the side and he is making full use of his experienc,†said Lara.

“He did brilliant in his home soil and now scoring runs even in away. It was not easy to bat on the Oval wicket. I think he is using his experience here,†Lara added.
