I hate to have to even consider it but it seems that competence of the West Indies Cricket ensemble as it relates to being effective at test cricket is has been gradually going and now it seems that it may have reached the gone stage. What can be done to stop the rot or is it that there is no returning to the days when both our batsmen and bowlers were able to intimidate all and sundry. The ball is round and everyone will be striving to be the best so it's may not be possible for one team to dominate forever and the converse should be true that no team should be merely scraping the bottom of the barrel year in and year out. It's somewhat disheartening to continue hearing the coaches and officials, just before an upcoming tour, state how well the team will be doing when we all know that what they may profess would be hardly likely to be achieved even though we hope it would be otherwise. Is our ability to put real pressure on opposing team gone for good or will we be able to rebound and to be a great cricketing force once more?

"We are products of our environment"
1.Attention Deficit Disorder
2.The mercenary attitude via the lure of big money slogfests aka T20.
These 2 elements combine to give 5 days Cricket a huge headache !
NOW, Australia may not have a Squad :-[
