India have retained their number-one ranking on the ICC Test Team Rankings following the annual update in which series results from 2013-14 are no longer included and outcomes from the 2015-16 series are weighted at 50 per cent.
While India lead South Africa by six points following the annual update, only nine points separate third-ranked Australia from seventh-ranked Sri Lanka, with ninth-ranked Bangladesh trailing eighth-ranked West Indies by six points.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Yeah, retaining number one just proves how strong they have been over the last years. It's not a season peek, as the results of the last seasons are being accounted for, so good job from them.

That's really good that they have retain the first position. Now it will be hard task to maintain it. Hope they will able to maintain the position by keeping good form. All the best to Indian team. What's the ODI position?
