David Warner on pay dispute: "If it gets to the extreme, they might not have a team for the Ashes"
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

The top players hold most of the power. If they stick together and hold firm, CA will have to crumble. They can't risk an Ashes series not being played. I mean most of the rights, ads, (tickets?) would already have been sold. Will be interesting to see how this pans out and who blinks first. No doubt a compromise will be reached that the players can live with. The stand-off raises some interesting questions, will Aussie cricketers be allowed to play in the IPL? which will also be part of the negotiations. Would they be willing to forgo playing in it for a better deal with CA?

Use West Indies example to see what will happen.
No Gayle, Bravo, Sammy, Shiv et al
no central contracts given to them.
Warner will not get a contract a la Gayle :-[
