Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes is happy to change a winning team to accommodate England all-rounder Moeen Ali.
Moeen is available for the Championship Division Two match against Northamptonshire, starting on Friday.
And, despite an eight-wicket win over Glamorgan last week, Rhodes confirmed the 29-year-old will be selected.
"Whoever misses out, it's special circumstances and I think they understand that," he said.
It is expected to be the only four-day appearance Moeen makes for the county before he resumes international duties.
"We love having Mo in our side - he's a wonderful character," Rhodes told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
