Yup, it is team sports not one man show. Yes sometime one man show can do magic but if someone needs to be consistent then it is important that whole team performance well. That's what done by Indian team in this series. Good going.

I think that we all know only too well that if a team as a whole doesn't perform, over the course of a season then you aren't going to be up there in the number one spot. In a few matches then an individual performance will be able to get you over the line, but in general it's the team effort that makes the difference and can't all be left down to one or two individuals.


I'm sure that we can all think of games that have been won by one outstanding performance, but to rely on that one or two players consistently then you are going to be putting too much pressure on them and when they don't perform then it's them that get all the blame. As a team, ALL the players need to stand up and be counted and for that to happen it means that win or lose, every player needs to accept their responsibilities and not hide away like they sometimes often do.
