That embarrassing defeat in the game a few days ago is still annoying me.
I took the time to look at the stats of some the so called batsmen that we have selected over the last few years.
Now, please remember that our domestic first class cricket is of a very low standard.
Asaad Fuddadin averages 32.
Jermaine Blackwood also averages 32, wait for it, Rajendra Chandrika averages 26, yes, I have said Twenty six. You should not even make the team as an all-rounder when you average 26.
Can someone explain to me how he is still playing for Guyana with that average? Which group of selectors decided to pick him?
That is a perfect example of why our cricket is going nowhere fast.
Just getting this frustration off my chest.

I would prefer us to do what Zimbabwe did a few years ago. Withdraw from international cricket until our cricket, and I mean test cricket is up to an acceptable standard.
At the moment, we are just making players improve their averages by playing against us.

strange case indeed, but I think he is classified as a pure batsman !
He got some Trinidad exposure that helped him being "favoured"
with good connections
