I turned this match on when he was on 50-something. The intensity in his eyes had me hooked; it was like watching the second coming of Bevan. Stoinis controlled the entire game, and was ordering far more experienced players to stay put and let him face all the balls. The level of authority and self belief was incredible, especially for a guy essentially on debut.
And then Hazlewood goes and ruins things.
Cricket is so cruel.
This would have been one of the greatest ODI knocks of all time, and now it will get lost in history.
