SYDNEY, Australia (CMC):
West Indies star Carlos Brathwaite has reiterated his commitment to playing international cricket, despite the demand for his services in Twenty20 leagues across the globe.
The 28-year-old has been an instant hit with Sydney Thunder in the ongoing Australia Big Bash and already the franchise are weighing up the possibility of securing his services for next season.
However, West Indies are scheduled to tour New Zealand from November 2017 to January 2018 for three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and one T20I – a series that will clash with the early stages of the Big Bash, which bowls off a week before Christmas.
And Brathwaite, who is trying to forge an international career in all three formats, said he was focused on making the Windies squad for the full series.

“My priority is always the West Indies. I want to be part of all three formats, and I want to be on that New Zealand tour next,†the all-rounder said here this week.
“If I’m not in New Zealand, and an opportunity presents itself here – I’m not in New Zealand for whatever reason, and I’m available – I’d love to come back to Sydney and the BBL.â€
Brathwaite’s commitment to West Indies was already evident in his decision to return to the Caribbean following the Thunder’s final preliminary game on Wednesday, to represent his native Barbados Pride in the Regional Super50.
The tournament, the Caribbean’s premier 50-overs competition, is a requirement for West Indies players in order to be eligible for selection in the ODI format.

Carlos is a liar and a hypocrite and a pretty good politician who knows how to play games to further his interest.
in short Carlos is looking fuh himself exclusively while talking up his commitment to the west indies
Carlos is backed up by his mentor Skourtney Brown who is responsible for his selection on the west indies team and his captaincy of the the T20 side. that is the total and complete basis for the selection of Carlos on any team named west indian.
Carlos does not deserve west indian selection on any normal criteria. simply put Carlos is not good enuff to make any west indian side..even a pee wee side.
by singing his committment to playing for the west indies Carlos is just playing to the hand that feeds him.
who else caree about Carlos stated committment ::confused::
no regular west indian fan cud possibly care because they wud know that Carlos is not very good and his loud propaganda does not matter at all..i.e his presence on the side. it wud be better if he did not play for he makes no positive diff on it

you behavin' as if... even successful skipper ever considered..somebody love Lloyd in the west indies ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
nobody does. Lloyd is an impse and everybody know dat. he lucky to have gotten the best ever players west indies ever produced with who he ran right over the whole world.
but Lloyd is not lovable..or even likeable. ask his former wife who exposed it all to the world for her 30 pieces :
