Trinidad and Tobago Red Force skipper Denesh Ramdin believes the West Indies Cricket Board is taking too long to deal with its impasse with Darren Bravo, which is keeping the left-hander out of the T&T squad for the upcoming Regional Super50.
Ramdin also took issue with the WICB’s handling of Bravo as well as another talented youngster in Nicholas Pooran and feels both players will enhance the upcoming 50-over competition.
Bravo has been barred from both international duty and regional cricket following his dismissal from the Tri-Nation One-Day International series in Zimbabwe last November and his subsequent sending of a pre-action protocol letter to the WICB.
In December, the WICB said, in communication through the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, that Bravo would be barred from competition until the two parties met to deal with the impasse.
But the Express has learned that Bravo has now received a letter from the Board proposing a meeting between January 9 and 27.
