President of the West Indies Cricket Board Dave Cameron made a rare appearance at the just concluded Bangladesh Premier League Qualifier between Daren Sammy’s Rajshahi Kings and Chris Gayle’s Chittagong Vikings. The appearance at what was a quarter-final encounter featuring a number of Caribbean cricketers left many wondering what was the true motive of Mr. Cameron’s presence in Bangladesh. At the end of the encounter, cameras caught the recalcitrant boss of West Indies cricket giving an extended round of applause to the former West Indies captain who took the regional side to the apex of world cricket twice.
Daren Sammy, the world’s most successful T20 captain saw his team home after hitting an unbeaten 55 from just 27 deliveries. Sammy is largely responsible for his team securing a semi-final berth in this year’s competition. sammy-trophyFor his exploits, Daren Sammy was named man of the match for the third time this season. His performance in Bangladesh not just with the bat, but as a captain has continued to raise questions about whether the WICB should recall the St. Lucian back to the helm of West Indies T20 Cricket.
In recent statements made by officials from the WICB, efforts are being made to deal with outstanding issues with players. The board reached out to Daren Bravo in an attempt to bring to an end the impasse that resulted after comments were made regarding the leadership of Dave Cameron. Speculation is rife, that statements made by other individuals including the likes of Daren Sammy on a world stage are being brushed aside in the hopes of re-establishing palpable relations between the board and players.
The question is: is the presence of Whycliffe Dave Cameron in Bangladesh the light at the end of a tunnel all West Indians have been waiting for? Will this be the rebirth of relations between the board and the players?

Darren Smmy cannot make a west Indian squad on Talent.
never could.
he was installed there illegally after being a Scab player
by his countryman Ernest Hillaire, former CEO of WICB on a 3 year contract.
and whom also scapegoated the talented Sarwan to never play again! >

Darren Sammy has become much more than any dime a dozen T20 player.
Darren Sammy has developed into a fine player, leader and personality that transcends any shenanigins in his original appointment by skunt Julian Hunter.
no matter how things begin if they develop powerfully, positively, benefits and expands what we involved in then we go with the positive. what do we do not piss on Darren Sammy ::confused:: ::confused::
why!! Sammy is now one of the truly positive human points in west indies cricket. he has gron into a powerfully and positive factor and is more and more appreciated around the world as SOLID PERSONALITY AND RESPECTED
