South Africa's captain was shown on camera shining the ball
with what appeared to be a sweet in his mouth.

South Africa's stand-in captain, could be suspended for a Test match
after being charged by the ICC over an alleged ball-tampering offence.
du Plessis has pleaded not guilty and is seeking legal advice to contest the charge.
A hearing before match referee Andy Pycroft will be held, but a date has not yet
been set by the ICC.

Faf du Plessis found guilty of breaching clause 2.2.9. Fined 100% of match fee. Will play in Adelaide

Intrigued how the sugary saliva clampdown will be policed. Perhaps the umpires can fervently kiss the slips every twenty minutes.
