India's Test players are to receive $20,000 per Test. Keep in mind: this is double the annual stipend the ICC gives to ENTIRE COUNTRIES.

To clear the confusion, though India are already No. 1, rankings will be officially updated by ICC only after the end of the series

Central contracts/retainer fees paid out also need to be factored in. For example, England players that receive a central contract are paid £700,000 annually, plus £12,000 per Test, £5,000 per ODI and £2,500 per T20.

Last year, England played 14 Test matches, 26 ODIs and 5 T20s. So there was the potential for a player to earn an additional £168k for Test matches, £130k for ODIs and £12,500 for T20s.

On top of that, players are also able to play in T20 tournaments across the world at good money.

Four of the games best shortstops are making considerably less this year. Carlos Correa is making $516,700, Francisco Lindor's salary is $540,300, Xander Bogaerts current contract is $650,500, and Corey Seager is earning $510K.

Mookie Betts, a potential MVP candidate, is arguably the games best bargain right now, with his contract of $566K.

Some predicting Betts could make $250M over his career.  How much CG make in
his career?    ICC gotta chuck da low rent 'Ghanis, Deshies, Zimbos and head to da gold mine of  'Merica.
