England bowlers James Anderson and Mark Wood have been ruled out of next month's tour to Bangladesh after a recurrence of recent injuries.
Anderson, England's all-time leading Test wicket-taker, has not played since the fourth Test loss to Pakistan in August because of a damaged shoulder.
Durham paceman Wood, 26, has been having treatment for an ankle injury.

Cool ....Bangla can enjoy some relief .
They are a far way down the ICC Test rank points.

Bitterly disappointed for Woody. Such an explosive and exciting fast bowler to watch. He just can't stay healthy. I worry for his future.
Hopefully Jimmy will be fit for the tour of India.

Yep I fear for Woody's future as well.
Seems to be injury prone and could be another sicknote which is a shame for such a talented player and team man.
Hope this is just a blip and he co es back fighting fit and ready for India.

My biggest concern with Wood is that he is a real effort bowler that generates his pace with an explosive delivery stride - this puts an incredible amount of stress and strain on his ankle. I hope somehow he can find a way to stay on the pitch because he is so much fun to watch: fast and skiddy with the ability to get the ball to reverse.
