WICB Media Release.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The West Indies Cricket Board’s Selection Panel today announced that Kesrick Williams will replace Andre Russell in the West Indies team for the upcoming Twenty20 International Series.
The World T20 champions will face Pakistan in three matches in the United Arab Emirates from September 23 to 27.
Russell, one of the game’s leading all-rounders and member of the West Indies World T20 championship-winning team, has asked to withdraw from the series to attend to a personal matter.
Williams, is a 26-year-old fast bowler who is yet to play at the international level. He has represented Windward Island Volcanoes and Combined Campuses & Colleges in the WICB Professional Cricket League and the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League.
He was one of the leading bowlers in this year’s CPL with 17 wickets as he helped the Tallawahs win the title for the second time. He was recently named on the West Indies A Team to tour Sri Lanka for the 50-over matches from October 24 to 30.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Last person that did this Kieran Powell : was banished by Richard Pybus !
when he refused to disclose what the "personal matter" was !
Muralitharan then had him exiled in Sri Lanka.
