Joe Root's numbers are ridiculous. 900+ runs at an average of 60. 10 of his 17 innings have resulted in a score of 50+.
Not on this list, both worth mentioning is Jos Buttler. Buttler has scored 609 runs at an average of 55.36 and a srike-rate of 136.24. Martin Guptill (SR of 116.82) is the only other batsman to have scored 600+ runs with a strike-rate above 110.

During the 4th ODI versus Pakistan, Joe Root became the third fastest batsman to 3000 ODI runs. Only Viv Richards and Hashim Amla achieved this feat in a quicker time. What makes Root's numbers especially impressive is the fact he has scored 1438 of those runs overseas at an average of 55.30.
Root's average (46.27) is ninth best among batsman with 3000+ ODI runs. And of all batsman to have scored 1000+ runs overseas, only ABdV (60.26), Trott (59.68) and Viv (56.82) have a higher average.
