Eleven members of MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), who help curate data for the
online services known as MLB Statcast and MLB At Bat,
set up a trailer at the Central Broward Regional Park to collect as much player and
ball-tracking data as possible in an effort to bring their new-age stats approach
to cricket from baseball.

Should these three sports even be included in the same sentence? I'm having it that Rounders and Baseball are more or less the same game, but Cricket? Come on. Anybody that can't see the difference seriously needs to have a long, hard look at their lives, haha!

No matter how they want to explain the sport, or do things to try and make it more...well, Americanised, I very much doubt that cricket will ever catch on in the US. If you look at how long it took football (sorry, soccer) to get established, and even now after so long it's still seen as a second rate sport. If Cricket was ever to catch on, just imagine the amount of time and money it would take, and you have to ask, would it really be even worth it in the end?
