TT U-19s in control against Bajans

Trinidad and Tobago’s Under-19s are in control against Barbados and in position to push for first innings points after day two of their threeday match with Barbados in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship in St Vincent yesterday.
TT , resuming on 312 for six, were bowled out for 371 with Kirstan Kallicharan (110), Bryan Boodram (88), Cephas Cooper (59) and Dejourn Charles (51) the main contributors. Leniko Boucher had five for 66. In reply, Barbados were limping at 171 for six despite a defiant knock of 71 from Shian Brathwaite. Jonathan Boodram (3/43) and Bryan Boodram (2/38) were the main destroyers.
Scores: At Sion Hill: Windwards lead by 158 runs.
WINDWARD ISLANDS 109 all out (Alick Athanaze 39, Anil Matthew 23; Kofi James 3-20, Daniel Doram 3-21, Kian Pemberton 3-23) & 153 for seven (Emmanuel Stewart 58, Alick Athanaze 47; Kian Pemberton 2-11, Javy Benjamin 2-16) vs LEEWARD ISLANDS 104 all out (Ross Powell 33; Rasheed Fredericks 4-25, Othneil Lewis 3-23).
At Arnos Vale: Barbados trail by 200 runs.
