This is great news for the game of cricket overall as the more nations become aware of the popularity of cricket, the more teams there would be to compete. Cricket needs to create a global footprint like football and this is the first step towards it.
Hopefully the response on the american soil is encouraging for other future cricketing matches as well.

, I agree with you, I would love to see cricket in America. I'm keeping up with this news because if it does happen in Florida, I will buy a ticket to go out there and see. I would like to see a bigger franchise and more teams become developed.
That's good for business also, but you know how there will be Americans who will say it's not American enough.

Looked Great Last NIGHT : may have been due to the many beautiful GUYANA flags
Pitch had pace bounce and carry and also offered turn for the Spinners !
ketchim endorses Florida as a venue for W.I. Cricket !

Seeing as Florida have just announced the first outbreak of the Zika virus and a lot of countries are warning people not to travel there unless absolutely necessary, I'm not sure that this would be the best time to play over there.
I know a lot of athletes are still taking apart in the Olympic games and we can't let a virus such as this rule what we do, but at the same time is it really worth taking the risk, and especially when I think the jury is still out on what impact a cricket match is actually going to have in the US anyway.
