Probably the most impressive aspect is that Root's still only 25 year's old, so there's a lot more cricket left in him yet. As I've mentioned before, if he can keep on going like he is then there's no question he's going to become one of, if not the best England have seen, I just hope that if he does have a dip in form, the press don't jump all over him and ruin him like the British papers and media have a tendency to do.

I'm assuming you are meaning Jack Hobbs? When he played the game it was a totally different game than what it is today, so I think it's probably too hard to compare the two to be honest. Hobbs was and is still regarded as one of the finest batsman to ever to play the game, but if Root continues to play like he is doing now then I think he can put his name into the same brackets as Hobbs and maybe Grace.
