What a character, what a player. From Sabina Park to you name it,the legendary Gayle is known.Jamaican accent of course,a certified identity of that beautiful Caribbean Island, home of reggae music which has produced more legends than one can imagine. Brother Bob,(One Love) Usain Bolt, like a bolt of lightning.George Headley the great.graceful Micheal Holding, and not forgetting the triple centurion Lawrence Rowe. The names are many, their reputation synonymous with distinction. The exploits of Chris Gayle leaves an indelible impression on the mind. A simple fellow who is full of fun. He has made his name in every facet of the game.Triple century in test? Yes, not one but two and a double too. He also has the rare distinction of scoring a double hundred in ODI, having a total of 22 hundreds. He even made 17 hundreds and 58 fifties in 20/20. Awesome doesn't come closer. And about his troubles with certain part of the media, people see what they want to see.Gayle is class, and peace loving.

I can only assume from that post that you are a Gayle fan then? haha!
Gayle for me is one of those cricketers that you can't really help but like. Not only does he do the business (most of the time anyway) on the pitch, he's also a character off it and there aren't many sportsmen in ANY sport that you can say that about these days. Cricket especially I think needs more players like Gayle, and even though he might not be to everyone's liking when it comes to some of the off field antics, there's no denying that he makes headlines around the world whatever he does and for the sport in general that can only be a good thing in my opinion.
