A day of what might have been for England. They were in a fantastic position after bowling Pakistan out for 339 and then motoring along to 118/1. Root's wicket caused an all too familiar collapse. Still too many question marks about the middle order for my liking.

The time might be coming near to have a discussion about Moeen's future. A bowling average of 55.89 over the last year and 48.93 if you remove his one dominating series against India.

For a moment I thought I was watching Windies playing spin at lords....then noooooo it was England being perplexed by Yasir.


Who will take control tomorrow?


Woakes and Braod has to press on otherwise Pakistan can have a slim lead.


Had the Pakistanis taken their catches, we would have been in a right mess.

England's trap for Misbah has to be admired. I can't imagine Tendulkar taking on that fielder the way Misbah did.
