I agree on Brathers and Holder and in fact I think Brathers is a bit undercooked just now to make attest debut.
The team against India seems quite unbalanced with little specialist spin which means Bishoo, will once again, be overbowled.
I do not think it is a very good team but interested to see how they do but as you said, Holder as an opening bowler suggests a weak attack, much like Ramdin batting at 5.

How can one just look at averages and not look at current performances. Browne is contradicting himself because Samuels has a 33 career average which is below poor for a front line batsman. My question is why wasn't he dropped.

No and it will soon be exposed because they are not good enough. Holder's main game as a bowler has gone backwards, if he has a flat pitch he will do ok (like most of us) as a batsman.
CB? The boy has not had time to develop, an abject failure in the IPL so you promote him to the test team of useless all rounders...
Unproven but I am sure we wish them well.
