Steven Finn believes some kind words from Michael Holding can help him establish himself in England's one-day international ranks.
Finn has targeted a strong showing in the upcoming limited-overs series against Sri Lanka, to lay down a marker with England hosting the 2017 Champions Trophy and 2019 World Cup.
West Indies great Holding told Finn to "relax a bit and just get the job done" in a post-play interview for Sky Sports during England's drawn Test with Sri Lanka at Lord's.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

About time too. He has been sub par over the last year in all three formats of the game. 3 wickets in 6 ODIs at an average of 79.33, strike-rate of 66 and economy rate of 7.21 just aren't going to cut it. That said, I don't believe Shannon Gabriel is the answer, and he himself has struggled as of late.

Personally, I feel that Alzarri Joseph should have been included in the squad ahead of both Taylor and Gabriel. Joseph was fantastic at the under-19 World Cup and had also performed well in 4 day cricket over the last year. At this point in time, Taylor and Gabriel are known quantities and not good enough, IMO.
But then I would have also selected Kraigg Brathwaite, Vishual Singh and Roston Chase.
