Mills was on the radar a while ago as he is rapid but wayward.
In 4 overs it is difficult to say but , Dilly, how has he been doing this season?

His performance last night against Somerset was the first time I have seen Mills this season. He was electric and looked like the real deal. He bowled with great pace, mixed in a beautifully disguised slower ball and bowled a very good line. His 94mph yorker that bowled Gayle was too quick for him.

Yes he looked good.
I had hoped he would have made the ODI team by now.
In fact he was on the radar before Jordan, Woods, Willey, Topley and this other chappy who was in the last Test squad.
His focus just seems to be T20s.

It is a shame his back injury has forced him to stop playing first-class cricket. England are in desperate need of a quality left-arm quick. There was some talk on the broadcast last night that if his back holds up, he may be able to play in the Royal London Cup and potentially 50-over cricket for England. I'd hate to push him, but he has raw speed that you can't teach and he seems to be harnessing his waywardness.

Kent bowled well, but Hampshire were never quite able to get going. Carberry scored a rather labouring fifty and Afridi and Sammy had nice cameos that has given them a target to bowl at, but feel it is way too short. Prior to the toss, commentators said that 175 was a par score. Hampshire well short of that.
As to Kent's innings, Daniel Bell-Drummond is going to be a big player for England in the future, IMO. Very impressive across all formats of the game.
