A good session for England as Sri Lanka go in to Tea at 43/3. Vince was given an over before Tea and very nearly picked up the prize wicket of Mathews.

Stokes strikes with the first ball after tea. Big wicket. Chandimal back in the hut. Sri Lanka 43/4. And three balls later, the players are taken off the field for bad light.

Jimmy gets the prize wicket of Angel Mathews and in doing so jumps ahead of Kapil Dev on the all time Test wickets list. A great achievement. Sri Lanka 77/5.

Anderson to Mathews, OUT, got him! This is the one that goes the other way,
Mathews was lining up the outswing, and was beaten past the inside edge and struck in line
of off stump ...

Anderson to Shanaka, OUT, that's too good. A sublime curling delivery that was bending into the edge
from the moment it left the hand, threatening to go down leg, sliding past a limp defence,
and Bairstow gathers the resulting grazed edge for his fourth of the innings!
Shanaka c †Bairstow b Anderson DUCK

Poor Shanaka, out for a first ball duck. I don't think he will see a better ball in his career. What an absolute peach from Jimmy. Full and swinging. Just too good. That would have done for any batsman. Jimmy is so much fun to watch when he has the ball moving like this. Sri Lanka 81/6.
