West Indies became the first team to lift the World T20 for the second time after defeating England in the final by 4 wickets. The West Indies were given a target of 156 in 20 overs.
After a fluttering start, Marlon Samuels held on to the West Indian innings as the batsman scored a riveting unbeaten 85.
Darren Sammy-led team required 19 off the last over.
Carlos Brathwaite smacked four consecutive sixes on the the first four balls of Ben Stokes’ over to lead his team to victory.
