A huge confidence boosting win for England over New Zealand today. Rashid was magnificent and showed the same form he exhibited in the recent Big Bash League. England will only go as far as Rash and Mo take them, IMO, as their seam bowlers are on the weaker side. Interesting decision to go with Plunkett ahead of Willey.
Buttler again showing what a great finisher he can be. I have been critical of Roy in recent weeks/months - and though I still think Vince should be starting ahead of him - he came up huge today and showed all his potential.

I still think New Zealand will fare well. If anything, they answered some questions about their spin options today with good performances from Santner and McCullum. T20 cricket is extremely volatile due to the short format of the game. One good or bad over can decide the match.
