With the second coming of Don Bradman on course for another century, Australia will have their eyes on a lead of 250+. New Zealand need wickets and they need them fast.

An enthralling day of cricket. Given the state of play in the morning, New Zealand would have been quite happy, I think, to only face a first innings deficit of 135. However, Australia got the ball swinging in both directions and have firmly put themselves back in the drivers seat again as New Zealand trail by 14 runs with 6 wickets in hand.
Wagner bowled his heart out after lunch. It's been a while since I have seen such a prolonged spell of short pitched fast bowling. He and New Zealand had a plan and they did not deviate from it, even for one ball. Great discipline and just reward.
McCullum was true to himself, right down to his final innings; live by the sword, die by the sword. It was rather fitting that his last scoring shot was a six.
