Despite the numerous players vs board controversies that has inflicted West Indies cricket since the team descended into terminal decline in 1995 - 2015 will have to go down as a champion year in world of off-field controversies.
Events from the embarrassing India tour pull started a chain reaction of endless issues, which commenced with Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard being axed from the 2015 World Cup squad. This followed the first CARICOM government's condemnation of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) by Grenada and St.Vincent Prime Ministers Dr Keith Mitchell and Ralph Gonzales, while Dave Cameron was re-elected as president despite majority opposition from Caribbean media and fans.

Good decision. But they must also be encouraged to play domestic first class competitions in other countries. It is sad to say the standard of first class cricket in West Indies is not great; they need to play against better oppositions so that the jump to Test cricket is not that high.
