KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Scorpions Captain Paul Palmer has been dropped for Friday's Professional Cricket League match against Trinidad & Tobago Red Force at Sabina Park.
Palmer, 24, was given the difficult responsibility of taking charge of the franchise at the start of the campaign — his first season playing for the senior Jamaica team.
The left-hand opener has endured poor form with the bat. That is believed to be the reason he was omitted by the Wavell Hinds-chaired selection committee.
John Campbell, another young left-hand opener, has been appointed captain.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
