IMO , Imlach was a smarter gloves man than the Pakistani run scoring keeper !
as evidenced by Pant's stumping/run out in the FINAL !

Joseph to Pant, tightens his technique outside off. Left alone. Great awareness from the WI keeper.
Pant standing outside the crease, stretched forward and drifted further out, after offering no stroke.
Imlach grabs it and hits the stumps with an under-arm flick :
'Reverse mankading' Full marks to the keeper. Sharp work

I would have had Paul in the side ahead of Pope. I think Pope's future lies more in T20 cricket. Dan Lawrence's failure in the final three matches probably cost him a place in this side also. Still, he looks to be a future star to me. Three others not included in the final XI that impressed me in this tournament were Tariq of Afghanistan, Pant of India and England's Saqib Mahmood.

Really, quite interesting.
Apart from Burnham and Joseph, Pope is the only one to have really impressed me.
The Indian chappy, Pant sorry if I got this wrong, looked ok as did both Indian seamers.

It will be interesting to keep an eye on and follow how the stars of this tournament progress and develop. Just looking at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, only a handful of players have so far managed to make their way into their respective full international sides.
By my count, the 11 players that have gone on so far to make international debuts are: Bancroft, Head and Paris for Australia, Topley for England, Sodhi for New Zealand, Babar Azam for Pakistan, Brathwaite for West Indies, de Kock for South Africa, Anamul Haque and Litton Das for Bangladesh and Dickwella for Sri Lanka.
