It's now confirmed that Narine and Pollard will not be participating in the upcoming T20 World Cup. These are two crucial team members, Narine, being arguably the best bowler on the squad, and Pollard one of the better fielders, an explosive (game changing) batsman and a useful bowler. I am wondering if their absence will really result in a significant gap in the team's capabilities.

Narine is a big loss. Narine's sudden wickets in the 2012 T20 World Cup Final played a huge part in that win.
