Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are aiming for a top three finish in the Professional Cricket League Regional Four-Day championships and are looking to kick-start the second half of the campaign by upsetting defending champions and current leaders Guyana Jaguars in Guyana.
The Jason Mohammed-led Red Force are high in confidence following their Nagico Super50 triumph last month and all-rounder Akeal Hosein feels that confidence will make the T&T franchise, who are fourth on the standings, a tougher team to beat in the second half of the season which bowls off today at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.
In the other sixth-round match starting today, second placed Barbados Pride host the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Kensington Oval. The other round six match started yesterday, with the Leeward Islands Hurricanes up against the Jamaica Scorpions at Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, Antigua.
