Wellington's forecast is for a cloudy and somewhat humid day.
The drop-in pitch has assisted seam bowlers with some slow movement in the past
but has more recently been an easy-paced batting track.

Khawaja continues his rich vein of form. A cracking start for Australia as they look to chase down 282. They have positioned themselves nicely to even this series up. Mitch Santner did a great job of underpinning New Zealand's innings at the end. He looks to be a very promising all-rounder.
It was great to hear the commentators discussing Martin Crowe's innovative Cricket Max on the broadcast. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since its inception.

Khawaja gets his maiden ODI fifty, but quickly departs thereafter. Australia in firm control at the moment. 124/1 (17 ov). It's hard not to see them getting home from this position.

Smith doesn't stay for long. New Zealand with a slight window of opportunity. Australia 133/2 (19.3 ov).

Bailey out for a golden duck and suddenly New Zealand have their tails up. Good piece of captaincy from McCullum to bring Boult back into the attack. New Zealand's only chance of winning this is to bowl Australia out. Australia 133/3 (20 ov).
