They still have the ODIs and T20s to play, so they will be in South Africa for a while longer yet. The best teams in the world are never satisfied with just winning the series, they want to win every game in the series. That said, I think you have to give credit to South Africa here, and not lay all the blame on England. Sure, England haven't bowled at all well (Woakes in particular), but South Africa have shown great application with the bat in this Test. Rabada was also brilliant with the ball.

No century for Amla as he departs for 96. I'd imagine Bavuma and de Kock will thrash out now for another 5 overs and then declare.

I have no idea what ABdV is thinking here. The weather is not looking good, England are time wasting in the field and South Africa are struggling to get the lead up to 400. The lead is 378. England aren't chasing that down. The highest successful 4th innings run chase at Centurion is 251. This is very defensive captaincy from ABdV

The rain has intensified and the players are coming off the field. It looks as though this rain will force ABdV into declaring now.

As harsh as it may sound, given South Africa's recent run of form, you would hope that ABdV would be more worried about getting the win than allowing batsman to reach individual milestones.
Play will resume in 20 minutes. South Africa have declared. So the rain did indeed force ABdV's hand.
