I saw Ten's own account initially respond to Gayle's words with the hashtag #smooth,
I saw the Australian footballer Tim Cahill tell Gayle he had been "on fire tonight brother".
also saw Taylor Walker, the Adelaide Crows captain, say this:
"A bit of fun by @henrygayle everybody relax - no one hurt, injured or dead!"

I also think that this as been blown out of all proportion also to be honest. As far as I've heard he didn't say anything inappropriate, it was at the big bash and that's what it's all about, entertainment and a bit of fun, and that's just what Gayle tries to carry on.

Bravo responded:
“I just want to say hello to Mel, beautiful Mel, I was lucky enough to meet her once in Sydney.
I just want to say hi and I see she’s still looking beautiful.â€
The camera panned to McLaughlin in the studio, who appeared visibly embarrassed.
“That was slightly uncomfortable,†co-presenter Ricky Ponting said.

nonsense! did CG hops up the girl, take and hide her away in a prison, or shut she up in a house and ordered her dont go outside ::confused::
how in the hell is this comparable to Lord back in the day with systematic oppression and separation of women and blacks, the poor, from the rich ::confused::
its night and day. blacks and whites cohabit in any way shape and form they see fit. Gayle is in now way out of place putting the move on that woman..only professionally. it is a question of professionalism..she must be able to do her work free from such moves..and so must Gale. he must focus on why he is there with her and leave the moves for after the work is done
BUT THERE IS NUTTEN IN THE MOVE THAT HARKS BACK TO THE BAD OLD DAYS. IN FACT IT IS FREEDOM FROM THOSE DAYS THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR GAYLE TO MOVE AS HE DID AND GET HIMSELF INTO WHAT SHUD BE A LITTLE TROUBLE..NOT THIS BIG SCANDAL IT IS HAS TURNED INTO..WITH 10 THOUSAND FINE ETC.

how do you separate out one oppressive effect from a generally oppressive reality..as if sexism was a separate and distinct and fundamental aspect of the situation ::confused::
man all of the general oppressiveness has been broken down and I see Gyle and Bravo continuing to break things down making the playing field level.
that woman is a normal regular woman whom if any approximate male is attracted to he can try his luck....any approximate male among who Bravo and Gayle fit.
and eff Ponting and all the rest of the white male pontificators who would have much less to talk about were it not for Gayle and company.
Gayle was unprofessional for a minute that's all. no one in their right minds blame him for anything. he is a fine and complimentary approximate male for that woman anyway. on that score there can be no argument
