Peter Siddle injury paves way for Steve O'Keefe, Scott Boland also in the frame for New Year's Test
Spinner Steve O'Keefe will "more than likely" be called in to Australia's XI for the Sydney Test against the West Indies, according to coach Darren Lehmann. And uncapped quick Scott Boland is also in line for a debut, with Lehmann rating fast-bowler Peter Siddle a "doubtful" starter for the match at the SCG, while Josh Hazlewood and James Pattinson will both be closely monitored over the coming days. Siddle was hampered by an ankle injury during Australia's victory in the Boxing Day Test, spending some time off the field and bowling just nine overs on Tuesday.

Australia might as well rest some of their players since the WI are unlikely to be a match for any 11 Oz put on the field.
