Pakistan finally win a toss in the series and elect to bat first They have made good use of winning the toss so far with the batsman seeing off the new ball and now getting ready to dig in against the spinners. 88/1 (18 ov).

Oh dear me, Hafeez has ran out Azhar Ali. Suicidal to think there was a run there. What a break for England. The pair had taken Rashid to the woodshed and looked in complete control. 95/2 (20 ov).

Great five-minute spell for England as both Hafeez and Sarfraz depart in back-to-back overs. Both will be slightly disappointment in their shot selection but England won't care one bit. 136/4 (31 ov).

Another run out and Pakistan reeling now at 138/5. I have no earthly idea what Mohammad Rizwam was thinking there. He just jogged nonchalantly down the wicket thinking it was a comfortable single and Shoaib Malik remained rooted to his crease. The look on Rizwam's face was priceless. 138/5 (33 ov).

Iftikhar tries to pull a shorter ball from Woakes and Joe Root takes a skier on the boundary. England have done a masterful job of preventing boundaries and putting pressure on Pakistan. Moeen was brilliant today, bowling his allotted 10 overs and yielding just 30 runs. Pakistan 145/6.

Morgan brings Topley back into the attack and he immediately gets the wicket of Anwar Ali. A very poor shot from Anwar. It looked to be a premeditated shot. Topley bowled a cutter, the ball stuck in the wicket and Anwar was through the shot way too early giving an easy catch to Mo. 157/7.

Oh my. What are Pakistan doing? Shoaib Malik runs himself out. A third run out in the innings. There was never a run there. The ball was hit square on the nose to Jordan at midwicket who didn't have to move. Jordan really is an incredible fielder - whether it be catching or hitting the stumps. 161/8.

Zafar looks mighty impressive with the bat for a no 10. He is showing Pakistan's batsman how to do it.
Edit: And I jinxed him. He is out next ball, edging one off Woakes behind to Buttler. Still, a very handy partnership of 26 for Pakistan. 187/9.

Wahab giving it some welly at the end here. A couple of big sixes get Pakistan over 200. These are very useful runs.
