Johnson's comments probably shouldn't come as a surprise. Historically, pace bowlers have struggled after the age of 35. Since 1960, just 12 pace bowlers have taken at least 25 Test wickets after turning 35. Trevor Goddard is the only lefty on that list. Walsh, Hadlee, McGrath and Ambrose are the exception to the rule.

Warner goes past 1000 runs in 2015. He is the only Australian to score 3 consecutive tons twice

Warner's purple patch, Burns in good form, Khawaja complimenting both. This is a brutal top 3.

Another huge first innings total for Australia. Burns and Khawaja have made the most of their opportunities. Burns has stepped into Rogers shoes and Australia have not skipped a beat at the top of the order. David Warner continues to score runs and score runs quickly.

Absolutely !!! .... Burns has slotted in perfectly with Warner as opener batsman and Khawaja making the most of his opportunity and cementing that #3 spot

I had hoped that the Kiwis would've done better than they have so far. BigMac seems to get on the defensive too early which one can't do with the Aussies especially at home.
Unfortunate that he hasn't used DRS favourably PLUS Ump decisions haven't been kind to the Kiwis

David Warner is the heir to Sehwag. Consistent, persistent, unbridled attack, whatever the match, whoever the opposition.
