In my opinion its Ed Joyce, a brilliant multi day batsman and a FC average of 47 reflects that. Would be a crying shame if he never got a chance to play test cricket, especially with the form he's in, 2 200's in a row in the Intercontinental cup with his latest at a 100+ SR).
Of course there are numerous Associate batsmen over the years who'd lay claim to this title, most notably Steve Tikolo of Kenya, Ten Doeschate (averages 67 in ODI's after 33 games) and others.
So I'd like to ask, who in your opinion is the best ever Associate batsman? (And yes, I think its fair to include anybody who played for Bangladesh,Zimbabwe or Sri Lanka prior to them receiving full member status, so feel free to mention any of their cricketers)

Interesting question and subject matter.
Does Eoin Morgan count? He did play 23 matches for Ireland. Excluding Morgan, my top 5 would be:
1. Steve Tikolo
2. Ryan ten Doeschate
3. Ed Joyce
4. Ashish Bagai
5. Mohammad Nabi
If First-Class numbers were to also be taken into consideration, I would have Joyce first, ten Doeschate second and Tikolo third all-time.
