FAISALABAD: Pakistan fast bowler Mohammed Amir has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee by the Pakistan Cricket Board for breach of discipline during a domestic cricket match.
Amir, who is representing the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in the qualifying round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, has been top form, taking a whopping 30 wickets in just four First-class matches.
The 23-year-old, desperate to make a comeback to international cricket after the spot-fixing scandal, though faced further reprimand from the PCB after indulging in a bitter verbal exchange with PIA’s Faisal Iqbal.
The incident was taken into notice readily by the match referee, who imposed fines on both Faisal and Amir.
Amir has been instructed to strictly follow the code of conduct set by the PCB to increase chances of his comeback to the international scene.

Discipline still takes you are far way or limit your movement so Amir needs to not only perform well with the ball but also have the self control and discipline to back it up as well.
