Have you ever wanted to be the head coach of an international cricket team? Well, now's your chance. Former Sri Lanka head coach Marvan Atapattu resigned last month, at which point the Sri Lanka Cricket board advertised for the post in newspapers and on their official website, however, until today, they have yet to receive even one application. No one wants the job and rather curiously SLC CEO Ashley de Silva decided not to head hunt for the position. As such, the team are currently in limbo with Jerome Jayaratne serving as the interim head coach for the forthcoming series against West Indies.
Applications for the position close on Tuesday, 6 October. Time to fire up your C.V. Ketch and work as an inside double agent!

Well Phil Simmons could send in an application and maybe they would fly him over for the West Indies series.
